Icy and snowy conditions this morning have caused several car crashes in West Fife.

Police in Fife are urging the public to take extra time whilst driving and to be careful when walking out on footpaths.

A yellow weather warning is in place until lunch time today (Tuesday).

A vehicle rolled over on to its roof after it landed in a ditch on the A823 near Wellwood, just after the turn off for the recycle centre.

Police were called to the scene just after 8am but no one appeared to be injured.

It has also been reported that a car went off the road, on to its side and into a field on the road to Steelend near Dunfermline.

Another vehicle also skidded off the road on Kingseat Road in Dunfermline, near Enco Engineering Supplies.
