COSTA'S plans to freshen up their Dunfermline cafe includes adding the word 'coffee' to the sign above the door.
They've submitted a planning application to Fife Council for their store on the corner of East Port and New Row which "requires an upgrade of the latest branding/identity".
A statement on behalf of Costa explained: "The proposal is to replace the existing signage with new like for like to now include 'coffee' and refurbish the internal decoration, furniture layout and lighting like for like based on the existing design."
As well as changing their signs, the firm has applied for listed building consent for internal alterations which will see a new shopfront, seating and fittings, and also include a new baby change unit, newspaper rack and artwork.
There will still be seating for 51 people in the cafe.
