FIFE COUNCIL say that it remains unclear whether Inverkeithing High School will re-open tomorrow following problems with its water supply.
The school was closed yesterday because of a problem with the meter that supplied the building.
Together with Scottish Water and other partners, the council were working to fix the issue - which involved manufacturing and fitting new pipework - but confirmed last night that the school would remain closed today after the water supply could not be reconnected.
Inverkeithing HS update Wed 06/02 12:40: There are still a number of checks and processes underway at the school. It's too early to know if the water pressure will be sufficient to open the building tonight/tomorrow. We'll update you as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience

In a social media post, they stated: "There are still a number of checks and processes underway at the school.
"It's too early to know if the water pressure will be sufficient to open the building tonight/tomorrow.
