A DUNFERMLINE man ignored red traffic lights, mounted a kerb and drove on the pavement, all when he was three times over the drink-drive limit.
Peter Hemsworth refused to stop for police and then drove dangerously in a bid to get away.
Hemsworth, 27, of Brucefield Avenue, appeared in the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on January 13, in Carnegie Drive, he failed to stop the car he was driving when requested to do so by police.
He then drove dangerously by repeatedly failing to stop at red lights, repeatedly drove into the opposite carriageway, drove on the wrong side of the road, mounted the kerb and drove on the footpath.
Hemsworth also admitted driving having consumed excess alcohol. His reading was 66 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the limit being 22 microgrammes.
Sheriff Chris Shead called for reports and Hemsworth will be sentenced on March 6. A temporary driving ban was imposed until then.
