A START date has yet to be finalised for the arrival of a Lidl store in Rosyth.
However, the supermarket chain said it remained committed to bringing a store to the town.
Planning permission was granted to Lidl last April and an alcohol licence was also achieved in October.
The development, where the derelict former Yard pub currently stands, is set to create 35 full- and part-time jobs.
Mactaggart and Mickel Group, who are leading on the application, say they are still carrying out discussions with Lidl on the delivery of the Rosyth store, but a start date had not been finalised.
