WIZARDS and witches dusted down their robes and made their way to Duloch Library for a sold-out Harry Potter Book Night.
Youngsters were treated to magical crafts, games and fun as they took part in the event celebrating the world of Hogwarts and more.
Run by ONFife, it was one of several packed events where kids dressed up as their favourite characters and were then put into their Hogwarts houses by the famous sorting hat.
This was the fifth annual Harry Potter Book Night, designed to pass on the magic of JK Rowling’s amazing books to the next generation of readers, as well as celebrating with devoted fans.
A Care of Magical Creatures class was also delivered as part of the events by ‘Professor’ Calum from Cool Creates at Dunfermline Carnegie Library & Galleries on Saturday.
Kids got to meet and learn about some amazing animals including a snake, lizard, skink and a tailless tenrec.
They also spent time creating magical items, including their own dragon egg and flying key.
Sharron Brown, service development officer, said: “These events are proving to be very popular with our families in Fife.
"This is the second one to sell out and we’ll be going for a hat-trick with our March offer, which is David Goucher’s Spy Quest, an augmented reality game with secret missions. This will be at Dunfermline Carnegie Library and Galleries on March 17."
Event tickets are available at the venue or from www.onfife.com.
