A BUDDING Bayside FC footballer is looking for boys and girls to join him on his football adventure.

Young Fraser Inglis, who is just three, is currently the Dalgety Bay club’s youngest player and he is keen for more potential team members to join him for weekly mini-kicker sessions.

Pre-school children are able to kickstart their interest in football at the sessions, which are run in partnership with the SFA and Fife Council.

Club chairman Stuart Morrison said they were keen for more budding Messis and Ronaldos to join up.

“Our motto is fun, friendship and football and it is all about having fun and trying to meet new friends,” he said.

“We have got 300 members aged from three to the over-35s and we want to try and get as many young people involved in football at a young age at a reasonable price.

“We are a community club and we are going out there to the Dalgety Bay area to try and attract kids into Bayside and give them some early insight into the game.

“The club is growing massively.

"We now have got 86 girls within the girls’ section and we have introduced over-35s to the club as well.”

All the club’s coaches are PVG-certified and hold SFA qualifications.

The mini-kicker sessions take place between 5-6pm every Monday at Dalgety Bay Sports Centre.
