CANTEEN staff at Amazon's Dunfermline depot have reportedly been given contracts and backdated holiday pay following an investigation into working conditions.
The online giant's canteen subcontractor, Buckley Support Services, came under fire last month after a whistleblower spoke out claiming staff were sent home if they were not needed.
Amazon immediately launched an investigation into the issue after it was also claimed that staff had not been given written contracts while nightshift workers only got two weeks' holiday a year.
An Amazon spokesperson said: "On learning about the concerns raised by a catering employee of Buckley Support Services Ltd, Amazon immediately launched a full investigation.
"Amazon takes this matter very seriously and have demanded compliance by Buckley Support Services.
"All Amazon contractors must comply with our supplier code of conduct and employment law."
