A ROSYTH dog has become an internet sensation after wowing viewers with its football skills.

Ollie, an adorable Border Collie, was filmed by postman David Barbour while on his rounds last week.

Footage shows the dog demonstrating his quick feet, dribbling and kicking the ball back and forth with the local postie who was amazed by the dog’s ball control.

The video posted on Twitter by David’s daughter, Amy, has amassed an incredible 760,000 views online.

Amy told the Press that Ollie races to find his ball the moment he spots her dad.

She said: “As soon as he spies my dad coming down the street he grabs his ball and gets ready for him getting to his house.

“It’s been going on for about a year now, but Ollie’s skills are getting better and better!”

She said that Ollie will even block her dad’s path until they play together, even if his owner doesn’t have any mail to be delivered.

Amy added: “If my dad doesn’t have any post for the owner he will usually still have to play with him. It was my mum who said to video it as she didn’t believe it – understandable!

"So when he was out on Friday and Ollie was displaying his skills he decided to take the video as proof for my mum."

The pooch’s amazing technique has attracted attention from celebrities as well.

Martin Compston, star of the BBC’s Line of Duty was so impressed by the dog’s technique that he pleaded to have Ollie line-up alongside him as part of this year’s Soccer Aid charity match.
