CALAIS Muir Woods has become a hotspot for anti-social behaviour once again as fires were set and bottles were smashed.
Local communities had rallied to organise litter clean-ups and patrols last June in a bid to clamp down on the vandalism.
While the problem had subsided in the coming months, Dunfermline police officers patrolling the area at the end of April posted photos on Twitter showing smashed bottles, remains of a fire and pieces of rubbish.
Officers said: “This is our community. Setting fires and smashing glass bottles is not acceptable.
“Together we can make a difference. Further anti-social patrols to follow.”
