THOUSANDS of music fans and industry professionals have been queueing across the city to see some of the best international talent.
Today saw the first of three days worth of queues across Brighton as The Great Escape Festival kicked off.
The festival sees hundreds of acts perform at 29 venues across Brighton and Hove, and brings thousands of music lovers from around the world to the seaside.
The above picture was taken at 1.30pm today outside the Latest Music Bar where hordes of fans queued to see Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard and Allysha Joy.
Across the city queues like this are springing up as some of the best up and coming bands and solo acts showcase their stuff.
Shows run from early afternoon until late into the night, until the festival ends on Saturday, May 11.
