A biker was taken to hospital after hitting a deer last night (Monday) near the Fordell area.
The incident happened on the B981 at about 9.35 pm which stretches from Inverkeithing to Crossgates.
A 28-year-old man was taken to hospital by Ambulance.
The road was shut while emergency services attended and reopened at 10.15 pm.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers were called around 9.35pm on Monday, May 13, to the Fordell area of the B981 following a report that a biker had collided with a deer.
"The 28-year-old man was taken to hospital by the Scottish Ambulance Service, and the road was reopened around 10.15pm."
The Scottish Ambulance Service has been contacted for a comment but we are still waiting for a reply.
