SIX people were taken to hospital after a crash involving a mini bus and a car on the A985 in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Firefighters removed the casualties from the wreckage before they were taken to hospital after the incident which took place at around 1.20am.
A spokeswoman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: "Operations control mobilised two fire appliances to the A985 Valleyfield road where a minibus and car had collided.
“Firefighters safely removed six casualties and transferred them into the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service.
“All six were thereafter taken to hospital for further treatment.
“Crews left the scene at 3.34am after ensuring the area was made safe.”
A Police Scotland spokesperson said the road was closed from around 1.30am and reopened at approximately 6.30am.
