IT'S time to dodge, dip, duck, dive and dodge in Dunfermline.

A dodgeball taster session is bouncing towards a high school in the town next Friday.

Organised by Edinburgh Dodgeball, it is one of the UK's fastest-growing sports.

Head coach Danny Carroll said: "We want to give people in Edinburgh, the Lothians and Fife the opportunity to try this exciting and fun new sport.

"Currently, Scotland and the other home nation teams are among the strongest in the world and we want to grow the sport and build the talent base in Scotland.”

In association with Community Use Fife and British Dodgeball, all adults are invited to try their hand on June 7 at Dunfermline High School from 7-8.30pm.

Scotland currently has four dodgeball teams: Granite City Guerrillas, Deeside Bandits, Buchan Sharks and the Edinburgh Fireworks.

Edinburgh Dodgeball has ambitions to grow that number and get as many people involved in the sport as possible.

“We always say that the first session is free, as we know people always have so much fun they keep coming back," Danny added.
