A 17-YEAR-OLD youth has appeared in court for a vicious attack on a man in Rosyth.
The victim was severely injured after being chased by a group, having bottles thrown at him, and was punched and kicked repeatedly after being knocked to the ground.
The teenager, from Leslie, cannot be named for legal reasons.
At Dunfermline Sheriff Court, he admitted that on November 30, at Viking Way, Rosyth, whilst acting with others, he assaulted a man by pursuing him, throwing bottles at him – causing him to fall to the ground – then kicked him on the head and body repeatedly and also struck him on the head with a bottle, all to his severe injury.
Sheriff Charles MacNair called for reports and the youth will be sentenced on July 10.
