A 16-YEAR-OLD girl has been warned she could be facing a spell behind bars after admitting spitting on police officers and paramedics.
The girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, began her catalogue of offending in Dunfermline’s Forth Street and it continued after she had been arrested.
At Dunfermline Sheriff Court, she admitted that on April 17, at Forth Street, she acted in a racially-aggravated manner by calling police officers “gypsy b*******” and “piggy c****”.
She then assaulted two paramedics by spitting at them. She also admitted she spat in the face of a policeman.
Then, on a journey from Forth Street to Kirkcaldy police station, she again used racially-abusive language to officers.
On arriving at Kirkcaldy police station, the girl spat on the face and arm of a custody care officer.
Sheriff Craig McSherry commented: “She’s facing a custodial sentence so reports should be called for.”
The teenager will be sentenced on July 10.
