ASDA Halbeath’s petrol station is set for a revamp after a successful planning application.
It will now operate solely as a Pay at Pump facility with no retail offer or kiosk.
The store giant wants to erect a replacement petrol filling station, jet wash, associated works and alterations to the access to the western side of the existing site.
The plans will see the decommissioning and removal of four existing underground fuel tanks and the
installation of two new 75,000 litre underground fuel storage tanks.
The number of pumps or filling positions will remain the same.
