US superstar Pink has sent her love to a Scots teenager who missed the star's show at Hampden Park in Glasgow - after she was hospitalised for an emergency operation.

Aimee Doig, 13, was admitted to the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy last Wednesday after putting up with the pain for a week.

The teenager had been looking forward to her first Pink show, part of the Beautiful Trauma World Tour, and her family decided to appeal to the singer on social media - who has now responded.

Pink said: "Aimee, I am so sorry you missed my show. I hope you're feeling better and i'm sending you all my love. Get better quick."
