POLICE are currently searching properties in Easterhouse after a man fled the scene of a serious assault.
A man and a woman have been hospitalised after what is believed to have been a targeted incident.
The Evening Times reported earlier how over a dozen police cars stormed a street close to the Glasgow Fort.

Armed officers are on the scene on Langbar Crescent, close to Bartiebeith Road, just off the M8.
One eyewitness told the Evening Times there are around “12 to 15” police cars in the area, with “armed officers and dogs” also present.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman told the Evening Times: “Police are searching properties in Baldovan Crescent and Bartiebeith Road, Easterhouse, after a man fled the scene of a serious assault in Tollcross at 9.45am.
