Dunfermline road closed after man takes ill at the wheel
A Dunfermline road has been closed following an emergency incident where an elderly man has fallen ill at the wheel.
Whitefield Road (B912) is shut from Kingseat Road going past the Queen Margaret Hospital.
Police Scotland confirmed that the incident was a medical matter and that the man has been taken to Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy.
A spokesperson said the road should be reopening shortly.
