EMERGENCY services have re-opened the A985 after it was closed following an accident involving two vehicles.
The road had been shut following the incident between Cairneyhill and Longannet at the B9037 junction for High Valleyfield.

Police Scotland, who received a call relating to the incident at 11.35am, confirmed to the Press in the last few minutes that a car and a van were involved, but that there appeared to be no serious injuries sustained.
The road has now re-opened in both directions but officers remain at the scene until both lanes are clear, and have asked drivers to observe signs asking them to slow down.
