A BARMAID is hoping her customers will donate to charity after they see her new hair cut.

Jenna De Swarte, who works at the Commercial Inn in Dunfermline, got 15 inches of her locks chopped off at Bespoke Salon for the Little Princess Trust.

The 28-year-old mum has been growing her hair for the last four-and-a-half years so her new style might take a little time to get used to.

Especially for her daughter Ariana, who was not impressed by mum's new look!

Jenna said: "The last time I got it cut was when my daughter was born!

"Those that know me will know how much my long hair means to me, I cried last time it all got chopped off!

"But it's better off going somewhere where it's needed."

The trust provides real hair wigs to children and young people with hair loss, and funds vital research into childhood cancer.

Jenna added: "I know lots of people who have had cancer and I also raise money for Marie Curie so I thought I would give my hair to someone who needed it.

"I've had some donations but I've got a little box so I'm hoping that my customers will be generous when they notice the massive difference.

"My daughter was not impressed, she had a face like thunder!

"I asked her what she thought the next day but she still didn't like it!"
