WITHIN the last few minutes, Fife Council have confirmed three West Fife community centres have closed after thunderstorms lashed the area.

The Dell Farquharson Community Centre in Dunfermline and the Parkgate Community Centre have shut due to a leaking roof, while the Camdean Community Centre in Rosyth was closed due to "significant leaks from the roof".

Roads have also had to close due to torrential rain resulting in flooding.

The rain has lashed down this afternoon making some routes unpassable.

The B9037 is closed between Woodhead Street, High Valleyfield junction and the junction with A985.

In Dalgety Bay, Harbour Drive is shut between the junction of Link Road and the roundabout at Harbour Way.
