AN EIGHT year-old boy suffered minor injuries after he was hit by a car in Dunfermline yesterday (Monday) afternoon.
The youngster was struck by a Citroen C3 on Pilmuir Street near Coady's Bar at 2.30pm.
A Police spokesman added: "He sustained very minor injuries and was checked over by ambulance staff who had no concerns for him.
"The vehicle also stopped and no further police action required."
A spokesperson for the Scottish Ambulance Service added: “We received a call at 14:24 hours on Monday to attend an incident on Carnegie Drive in Dunfermline.
"We dispatched one ambulance and a rapid response unit. We treated one child patient at the scene.”
