THOUSANDS of A level students across North Wales will be picking up their results this morning.

Rhyl Sixth
THIS summer, students took exams in a wide range of A level subjects across Coleg Llandrillo with Rhyl Sixth students achieving an overall pass rate of 97.2 per cent.
Across all the campuses, there were 100 per cent pass rates in Biology, Physics and Chemistry.
Reflecting on the positive results, the Grŵp’s Chief Executive, Dafydd Evans, said: “This is fantastic news for our students and sets them up very well for a successful future whether in higher education or in the workplace."
Dina Campbell, 19-year-old Rhyl Sixth student, from Denbigh, gained an A in Maths, an A in Chemistry and a B in Physics.
What makes these results all the more extraordinary, is that Dina achieved them in just one year, instead of the normal two.

Myddelton College
MYDDELTON College is delighted to be celebrating its best ever set of A-level results.
Some 30 per cent of entries have been achieved at A* or A grades.
Students achieved 100 per cent A*-A grades in business studies, further mathematics, government and politics, and physics.

Ysgol Brynhyfryd
YSGOL Brynhyfryd sixth form students are celebrating outstanding A level success once again, with the majority achieving the highest grades and many are progressing to the most prestigious universities and degree courses in the UK.
Headteacher Geraint Parry said: “The achievements of our students this year reads like a roll of honour and I pay tribute to them for working so hard throughout their school life.
"Successes like these are hard won and it is thanks to their endeavour and the support of their teachers and their families that we see them succeed at the very highest level."

Prestatyn High School
THIS year has been one of the most successful yet for Prestatyn Sixth and many pupils picked up distinction and distinction* grades.
Neil Foley, headteacher, said: "Once again our students have performed at the highest level and achieved results that are truly outstanding.
"We expect the highest of standards from all students and staff so that all learners achieve their potential and yet again, our students have surpassed our expectations."

St Brigid's School
ONCE again, students at St Brigid’s School, in Denbigh, have gained outstanding A level results.
All of the pupils will be going to the university or career pathway of their choice.
Nearly a third of students gained A*-A grades and 81 per cent of students gained an A* to C grade.

Denbigh High School
DENBIGH High School is celebrating its A level results, which have seen a significant rise in the highest A*/A grades for the second year in a row.
The top A level or equivalent grades have risen again, by an impressive 27 per cent, with 59 per cent of students achieving at least one A*/A.
That's compared to 32 per cent last year and this is due to 39 per cent of all entries being A/A*.
In addition, the school has maintained its record level from last year, with 82 per cent of all grades achieved being A*-C.

Ruthin School
IT is the best year ever for Ruthin School regarding A level and AS level results.
The school has had another outstanding year with a very high proportion of students gaining the top grades at A level.
The number of A* and A grades at A level has increased by over 10 per cent.
In addition, nearly all 84 students in the upper sixth form will now be able attend a university ranked in the top-10 in the UK.

Ysgol Emrys ap Iwan
Ysgol Emrys ap Iwan are celebrating the best set of A level and AS level results the schools has ever achieved.
The pass rate for A levels was 99.5 per cent and more than two thirds of the grades awarded at A level were the higher grades.
Headteacher Lee Cummins said: "The learners have again achieved a great set of results across the range of academic and vocational subjects we offer at the school.
"Each year learners are out performing the previous year which is great to see however, the most important outcome for these results is that learners can fulfil their ambitions and I am delighted that so many are able to move onto university or other routes based on their stunning performance."

Ysgol Glan Clwyd
YSGOL Glan Clwyd is celebrating excellent A-level results again this year, improving on the high standards of previous years.
All of the pupils who sat A level exams this year attained the level three threshold performance measure of two A levels at A*-E grades. Almost a quarter of all grades achieved were A* or A grades and 84 per cent of them were A*-C grades.

Coleg Cambria
STUDENTS at Coleg Cambria contributed to another incredible year for the award-winning institution, with 26 subjects achieving 100 per cent exam success.
These included English, chemistry, psychology, modern foreign languages, economics and history.
Cambria, which also has a site at Llysfasi, is also celebrating a 100 per cent pass rate for grades A* to C in art and design, plus the news that 58 learners secured an A* or A in mathematics and further mathematics.

Ysgol Dinas Bran
DELIGHTED A level students have been celebrating a fantastic set of exam results at a Dee Valley school.
Overall, the pass rates at A level at Llangollen's Ysgol Dinas Bran have proved to be very pleasing, with over 75 per cent of grades awarded at A*-C.
This is well above the national averages and nearly 30 per cent of students achieved A*/A grades.
