VANDALS smashed up flower tubs at Carnock Primary at the weekend.
Youths are believed to have pulled the floral arrangements from the school wall before smashing up the tubs.
The actions have been slammed by the chairperson of the Take A Pride In Carnock and Gowkhall group (TAPICAG), Margaret Daniels, who said: "The two tubs were part of a considerable number secured to the school railings with cable ties and fully packed with flowers and compost so not easily removed without considerable force.
"A few months ago, several large central plants from tubs in the same area were stolen, simply lifted cleanly leaving the rest of the tubs untouched."
A Police Scotland spokesperson said they received a report of flower planters being damaged at Carnock Primary School.
"The incident happened some time overnight between Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th August," said the spokesperson. "Inquiries are ongoing."
