A KELTY man who assaulted his wife has appeared from custody at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
Michael Kelly, 43, formerly of Sir James Black Road, appeared in the dock having spent the weekend in the cells.
The court was told Kelly is now homeless following the incident.
Kelly admitted that on October 4, at his former home, he assaulted his wife by pushing her on the body, seizing her and throwing a mobile phone at her.
Defence solicitor Roshni Joshi said: βHe recognises he has a difficulty with alcohol.β
Sheriff Craig McSherry called for reports, bail was granted and Kelly will be sentenced on October 30.
