A DRUNK Dunfermline man lashed out at two police officers then tried to put one of them in a headlock.
Police were called out when Mark Potter tried to get into the wrong house after a heavy drinking session.
Potter, 31, of Gilfillan Road, appeared in the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on September 13, at his home, he resisted two police officers, struggled with them, lashed out with his arms, tensed his arms and resisted the application of handcuffs.
He also assaulted a police officer by seizing hold of him and attempted to place him in a headlock.
Defence solicitor Roshni Joshi said: “He has zero recollection. He had finished work on the Friday and gone out drinking for the rest of the day.
“He had lost his keys and was found trying to gain entry to the wrong property.”
Sheriff John Morris fined Potter £300.
