THE first photograph in this week's trip down Memory Lane shows the shop Rejects at the corner of Bridge Street and Chalmers Street, opposite the entrance to Pittencrieff Park, around 1996. The building, which is now the Seven Kings pub, had previously been occupied by David Hutton.
The second image is of the flats in Bute Crescent in the Abbeyview housing estate at a time when cars were an uncommon sight. The streets in Abbeyview were named after Scottish places, rivers and lochs.
