A DRUG addict who stole a £92 bottle of aftershave from Debenhams has been placed on a supervision order for two years.
Colin Taylor, 33, of James Bank Hostel, previously admitted that on September 8, at Debenhams, Kingsgate Centre, he stole a bottle of aftershave.
Dunfermline Sheriff Court heard that the offence was detected via CCTV at Debenhams.
Police later found the stolen item in his possession.
Defence solicitor Alexander Flett said his client had significant health problems and had been engaging with drug addiction services.
Sheriff Alastair Brown placed Taylor on a community payback order with two years' supervision.
He said: "This will try and get you some help to try and stop your offending."
A review will take place on February 5.
