A ROSYTH man has been placed on a tag for racial abuse towards a man.

James Gillespie, 27, of Forker Avenue, previously admitted that on April 9, 2017, at Torridon Drive, he acted in a racially-aggravated manner which caused or was intended to cause alarm and distress to a male in that he shouted racial remarks.

Sheriff Alastair Brown imposed the restriction of liberty order for three months.
