A MAN will appear in court after a three-car smash in Dunfermline this morning (Thursday).
Police officers attempted to stop a black Honda Civic on Halbeath Road at around 9.20am.
The car continued before crashing into two other vehicles.
Police Scotland revealed that a 22-year-old man has been charged, "in relation to a number of road traffic offences".
A spokesperson said: "Around 9.20am today (Thursday, November 7), officers attempted to stop a car on Halbeath Road, Dunfermline, which subsequently failed to stop for officers.
"The black Honda Civic came to a stop after crashing into two other stationary vehicles and a 22-year-old man has been charged in relation to a number of road traffic offences.
"He is expected to appear in court at a later date.
"There were no injuries as a result of this incident."
