A DUNFERMLINE woman who stole cosmetics from Bodycare in the Kingsgate Centre has appeared in court.
Kylie Chalmers, 33, of Headwell Avenue, previously admitted that on August 8, at Bodycare, Kingsgate Shopping Centre, she stole a quantity of cosmetics while having been granted bail in July 2018.
Dunfermline Sheriff Court heard that there had been full recovery of the stolen items.
Defence solicitor Alexander Flett said: "I expect the value would be fairly low.
"She has a record but I think in fairness to her she has not committed an offence since July 2018."
Sheriff James Macdonald said: "This is a relatively minor matter and there was full recovery of all the items in this case."
He imposed a community payback order with 12 months supervision and a conduct requirement to engage with substance misuse and mental health counselling.
