A DUNFERMLINE man has been fined for breaching gun licence legislation.
Matthew McMorrine, 52, of Carnock Road, appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that being the holder of a shotgun certificate he failed to comply with the conditions by failing to sign the certificate.
He also admitted committing the same offence with an air weapon certificate.
Depute fiscal Dev Kapadia said the offences came to light when police were called to deal with a domestic incident between McMorrine and his wife.
Defence solicitor Stephen Morrison said: “He has owned and possessed guns for more than 30 years.
"It’s the first time he’s fallen foul of the requirements.”
Sheriff James MacDonald fined McMorrine £450.
