TSB branches in West Fife have avoided the axe.

Uncertainty had surrounded the future of branches in Dunfermline's East Port, Queensferry Road in Rosyth and High Street in Cowdenbeath after the bank announced it was to close 82 branches across the UK.

It has now revealed that a total of 17 branches in Scotland will be shut however there will be no closures in Fife.

In deciding which branches to close, TSB conducted a detailed review and analysis of its current network.

This included looking at usage, proximity to alternative branches, the needs of vulnerable customers and the accessibility of alternative services such as free to use ATMs and the Post Office.
