A NEW buffet-style restaurant is expected to open this month in Rosyth.
Panas, which will serve Nepalese and Indian cuisine, has taken over the old premises of Cleo's Bar on Queensferry Road.
Renovation work has been documented on the restaurant's Facebook page over the last few months.
It was initially thought that the new diner would open at the end of August but the latest update estimated the launch to be this month.
A Facebook post stated: "Restaurant is 99 per cent ready but just waiting for paperwork to be sorted."
The Press reported in April that Cleo's Bar in Rosyth had to close its restaurant unexpectedly due to circumstances outwith their control but the bar continued to operate after that time.
Plans have been submitted recently to install a replacement extraction system to a new kitchen at the restaurant.
The application states: "The works were started as an upgrade to a substandard kitchen, which was already in operation and has inadequate ventilation provision.
"There are also upgrades to the electrical wiring, lighting, fire alarms and detection systems as well as the installation of completely new kitchen linings and appliances."
