BUS services in West Fife are set to change again and you haven't got long if you want to have your say.

Stagecoach East Scotland, who introduced new timetables and services in the summer, launched another public consultation last week.

They want the public to make their views known on proposed changes which will also affect West Fife passengers – but they've only got until January 3, leading to concern from one MSP.

A spokesperson for Stagecoach said: "After reviewing our network of services across Fife, Perth and Kinross, Dundee and Angus, we have put together some proposed service changes that we'd like to share with you.

"We're consulting with you, along with local authorities and staff and we're hoping to introduce these changes from Monday, February 24.

"If you have any feedback on the proposals, we'd love to hear it!

"Simply drop us an email at eastscotland.enquiries@stagecoachbus.com before Friday, January 3."

Cowdenbeath MSP Annabelle Ewing said: “The consultation period is very short and, with its timing coinciding with the Christmas period, I am concerned that the views of users of these services will not be properly heard.

“I urge anyone who will be affected – positively or negatively – by the planned changes to make sure that their voice is heard.

“The consultation period began on Wednesday, December 18, and runs until Friday, January 3 with the changes scheduled to come into force from Monday, February 24."

Many of the alterations are relatively minor and to improve reliability.
