A MAN has appeared in court after being caught drink-driving in Rosyth.

John Park, 37, of Provost Kay Park, Kirkcaldy, appeared in the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.

He admitted that on November 24, in Ferry Toll Road, Rosyth, he drove a car having consumed excess alcohol.

His reading was 41 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the legal limit being 22 microgrammes.

The court heard the incident occurred in the early hours of the morning.

Park was fined £500 and banned from driving for 12 months.
