A DUNFERMLINE man was remanded in custody after admitting offences against his former partner.
Craig Kelso claimed to have a sex video of the woman which he threatened to post online.
Kelso, 42, of Elliot Street, appeared in the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that between June 1, 2018, and March 7 last year, he engaged in a course of conduct which caused his ex-partner fear or alarm by repeatedly sending her messages which were threatening, offensive and derogatory, repeatedly made threatening remarks and threatened to distribute a video of her engaged in sexual activity on social media.
Depute fiscal Claire Bremner said the couple had been in a relationship from 2011 to 2017. Afterwards, the woman began receiving “a large number of abusive messages”, the court was told.
Defence solicitor Elaine Buist said: “There had been a difficult break-up between them.”
Sheriff Alastair Brown called for reports and remanded Kelso in custody. He will be sentenced on January 29.
