Police Scotland are dealing with an incident on the Queensferry Crossing which is causing heavy delays.
Emergency services were called out at 3pm following a report of concern for a person and remain at the scene.
Police say they are being supported by partner agencies.
Local reports say that lifeboats have been spotted in that area of the Forth.
However, the Queensferry Crossing remains open in both directions and all lanes are open.
