A CASHIER at a Dunfermline bookmakers shop was racially abused by a 68-year-old customer.
The incident led to David Mitchell, of Fodbank View, Dunfermline, going on trial.
He appeared in the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court and denied that on March 14, at Betfred, High Street, he acted in a racially-aggravated manner to cashier, acted aggressively, shouted, swore and uttered racially-offensive comments.
However, hearing the evidence, Sheriff Charles MacNair found him guilty and sentence was deferred until February 12 for reports.
