DUNFERMLINE and Inverkeithing featured on television last Friday evening with the latest airing of Celebrity Antiques Road Trip.

Actresses Helen Flanagan and Jorgie Porter were joined by experts Phil Serrell and James Braxton for the show where well-known faces hunt for hidden gems in a bid to make the biggest profit through buying and selling antiques.

The episode took in Dunfermline, Perth, Alva, Stirling and Inverkeithing as the celebrities and experts wentantiquing in a 1987 Mercedes SL300 and a 1969 Morgan 4/4.

As they scoured some of Scotland’s finest antique shops, they uncovered an interesting tea caddy and an unusual ship’s compass.

They had their fingers crossed for profits at auction in Stirlingshire, however, viewers saw Helen struggling to haggle, preferring to offer ‘more’ than the ticket price, much to the exasperation of partner Phil.
