A DUNFERMLINE man has admitted injuring a police officer by punching him.
Jason Maxwell then breached his bail conditions after being released.
Maxwell, 37, of Abel Place, appeared from custody at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on November 17, at Dunfermline police station, he made a threat of violence to a police officer.
He also assaulted another officer by punching him to the head to his injury.
Maxwell further admitted that on January 31, at an address in Dunfermline, he breached bail conditions not to contact his partner imposed on November 18.
Sheriff Charles MacNair called for reports and Maxwell will be sentenced on February 26.
Bail was granted but the sheriff warned Maxwell: “That’s no indication that you will not receive a custodial sentence.”
