A BUSY West Fife road has re-opened this afternoon after a two-car smash.
Emergency services were called out to Main Street in Torryburn at around 8.55am.
Police Scotland confirmed that there were no casualties in the incident which is understood to have taken place outside the village's parish church.
Police had closed off Main Street/B9037 before it was able to re-open four hours later, at 12.55pm.
An earlier tweet from South West Fife Police’s Twitter account, read: “There’s currently no access through Torryburn as the Main Street/B9037 is blocked due to a road traffic collision. Please avoid the area.”
Bus services were also disrupted as a result of the road traffic collision.
