A MAN was injured in an incident in a Rosyth chip shop when a sauce bottle and salt shaker were thrown at him.
The two men responsible have appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
In the dock were Lennon McAlpine, 20, of Balsusney Road, Kirkcaldy, but currently in detention; and Ceiryn Meade, 20, of Boyle Drive, Rosyth.
They both admitted that on December 16, 2018, at Rosyth Fish Bar in Heath Road, they shouted, swore, sprayed the contents of a sauce bottle on the floor, threw a salt shaker and sauce bottle at a wall, gestured aggressively and threw a plastic display and chair, causing damage.
They also admitted they assaulted the victim by spraying a bottle of sauce at his head and body, threw the contents of a salt shaker at him and threw the bottle and the salt shaker, striking him on the head and body, all to his injury.
Meade admitted a further offence of breaching curfew conditions.
The court was told McAlpine was currently serving a 32-month sentence in custody while Meade was on a community payback order and restriction of liberty order.
Sheriff Pino di Emidio called for reports and both will be sentenced on March 18.
