Coronavirus: Cases in Fife rise to 8,498
- The number of positive coronavirus cases in Fife has increased by 62 in the last 24 hours.
- The new total is now 8,498.
- There are still 119 people with Covid-19 in hospital in Fife – a decrease of four since yesterday. The number of people in intensive care has stayed the same at six patients.
- Across Scotland, a total of 1,480 new cases have been reported.
- There have been 71 reported new deaths of people who tested positive for the virus.
- A total of 358,454 people have received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccination and 4,689 have received their second dose.
