Carlton Bingo at Fife Leisure Centre will shut temporarily from tomorrow (Friday).
The last bingo session will be played tonight.
The company said it has been a very "difficult" decision to make.
A spokesperson said: "We recognise for many of our customers, especially our elderly patrons, bingo is one of the few regular social contacts they have each week.
"I also know it will disappoint many of our regular players.
"However, we recognise our social responsibility with regards to keeping everyone safe - customers and employees - and by taking this planned action now, we will do our very best to protect Carlton Bingo and its employees to the best of our ability, to ensure that we will still be "calling numbers" when this unprecedented crisis ends.
"At this stage, we don't know how long the closure will last and will continue to be directed by government updates."
