A DOOR steward at a Dunfermline bar was injured after being punched to the ground.
The assailant was Robert Todd, 38, of Tweed Street, Dunfermline.
He has admitted that on November 3, at the Brasshouse, Carnegie Drive, he assaulted the bouncer by punching him to the head repeatedly, causing him to fall to the ground to his injury.
The guilty plea was submitted at Dunfermline Sheriff Court by defence solicitor Roshni Joshi.
Depute fiscal Dev Kapadia said the victim worked as a door steward at the premises.
Sheriff Alastair Brown called for reports and sentence was deferred until July 1 for Todd to appear in court.
