ROSYTH residents received some good news last week as the DayToday shop re-opened its doors again.

The Goodnews Supermarket on Park Road started welcoming customers again on Thursday.

The business had closed temporarily on March 25 after a consultation was held with staff and management.

They are now back open for business seven days a week.

Posting on Facebook, the owners said: "We apologise to our customers for the inconvenience they have faced over the last week and aim to repay that through our hard work and dedication when we are back.

"The safety measures we had applied before closing will still be in place. We urge everyone to comply with them and please respect staff members and try to keep a distance with other customers and staff members of two metres.

"In addition, we will receive protective screens for the checkouts early next week.

"You may have seen these in other supermarkets and they are very useful to reduce contact between customers and checkout staff.

"As usual, we will try our very best to make sure all items are available but, during these times, please understand that is not always possible.

"Looking forward to seeing you all again."

The shop is open between 7am-8pm from Monday to Saturday and 8am-8pm on Sunday.
