VIEWS are invited on proposals to extend the skatepark in Rosyth.

The Take a Pride in Rosyth Group has been working to make it bigger and more inclusive since 2018 and now plans showing what it would look like have been unveiled on the 'What's Happening in Rosyth?' Facebook page.

The project is expected to cost £70,000.

Martin Rogers, secretary of the group, said: "A significant grant from the Fife Environment Trust enabled us to move ahead with the project and tenders were invited last year.

"The successful tender was from Bendcrete.

"The project is on hold at the moment because of the current situation and this is an ideal opportunity to invite views on the proposals from users of the skatepark.

"Any changes to be made would have to be capable of being met within the original financial budget.

"Please let us have your views and they will be fed back to Bendcrete."

The proposals have received mixed views so far. One person felt that the extension was "poor" in design while another said they "loved it".
